Learn more about how our program works, along with the guidelines. How Does It Work? Earn a referral reward of $100 when the person you refer opens an account within 60 days and reaches a balance of at least $2,500 within 60 days of opening it.They need to be new to Primis and open up a Primis Perks, Primis Premium, or Primis Savings account. Or, if they are a business owner, they can open a Primis Pro, Primis Unlimited or Primis Business Savings account and reach a balance of $2,500 within 60 days. We’ll reward you for up to 5 people each month. You have a unique referral link in your email. Click the link to share your friend’s contact information with us, and we’ll take it from there.Do we want you to mass email everyone you’ve ever met? Nope. We want you to invite friends that you believe would benefit from our accounts. Frequently Asked Questions for Referrers What if I referred someone that has already been referred by someone else? The first person to refer someone will get the referral reward if criteria are met. How do I make a referral? Check your email from us about the referral program. You have a unique link in your email to refer friends. All you need to do is click the link and fill out the contact information for the people you’d like to refer, and we’ll take it from there. If you need a new link, email [email protected]. Who can I refer? Refer your friends, family, acquaintances and colleagues. Our referral program is intended for you to invite potential customers that may have a genuine interest in our accounts. In order to receive the referral reward, we must verify that the people you invite are legitimate, which we’ll do when they complete their application. The person you refer must be brand new to Primis, so referrals of current and existing referrals won’t work. Review account terms and conditions to learn about standard account opening criteria. What if I refer someone and they open more than 1 account? That’d be great. But remember, your referral reward is per customer, not per account. What type of account do my referrals need to open? Your referral needs to open a Primis Perks Checking, Primis Premium Checking, or Primis Savings account and reach a balance of $2,500 within 60 days. Or, if they are a business owner, they can open a Primis Pro, Primis Unlimited or Primis Business Savings account and reach a balance of $2,500 within 60 days. How many referrals can I make? Thanks for referring us to your friends and family. You’ll receive a $100 referral reward per referral that qualifies. You can receive a referral reward for up to 5 qualified referrals per month, though you can invite as many friends as you like. Can Primis employees participate and earn a referral reward? Primis teammates are not able to participate in this referral program. Are there any tax forms needed for my referral reward? A 1099 will need to be issued for anyone that earns $600 or more. How long will the referral program last? To be honest, we’re not sure. We’re gauging customer feedback and ensuring that we are rewarding our customers for legitimate referrals. We hope this program lasts long term, but reserve the right to stop or change the program any time without notice. Should we stop the program, you’ll be rewarded for any referrals in the process of opening accounts. How quickly does the person I refer need to open their account? We don’t want to rush anyone. If they open their account within 60 days of you referring them, and reach a balance of at least $2,500 within the next 60 days, you will receive your referral reward. Can I refer a family member or someone that lives in my household? Sure thing. As long as they are a new customer (not a co-owner of your account) then they are eligible for the referral program. How do I get the reward money? Once your referral has opened their account and it reaches a balance of at least $2,500, we’ll send you an email and let you know. This balance needs to be met within the first 60 days that they open their account. Your referral reward will be paid out within 5 days of this requirement being met. We will place this $100 referral reward directly in your Primis account. If you have more than 1 account, we will deposit the referral reward into the account that has been opened most recently. How is this tracked? Referrals are connected to you by email address, so be sure to use your friend’s primary email address when you refer them. If you believe an error resulted due to an email address, email us at [email protected] and we’ll help get it sorted out. What if I referred someone before but didn’t use my referral link? You must use your unique referral link to qualify for the referral reward. Who can make a referral? The referral program is for Primis Perks, Primis Premium, and Primis Savings customers only. What happens if I game the system and recruit friends to open accounts, fund them, and then close them after I receive my referral reward? That’s not cool – don’t ruin it for everyone.Note, that at the discretion of the bank, your account may be closed and reward payment may be denied if the offering is abused. Play Video How Does It Work? How Does It Work? Primis is a member of the IntraFi Network, which offer ICS and CDARS, meaning that when you make a large deposit with us, we can have your funds placed into accounts (with a maximum balance of $250,000) at other network institutions. When using ICS, your funds will be divided up and placed in multiple money market deposit accounts at other FDIC-insured institutions, keeping your confidential information protected. For CDARS, those funds will be deposited into CDs at network institutions instead. Why ICS and CDARs? Peace of Mind Nobody has ever lost a penny of FDIC-insured deposits, make sure your funds beyond $250,000 are protected too. Earn Interest Excess cash balances can be put to work, earning you returns, in money market deposit accounts (through ICS) and CDs (through CDARS). Save Time Work with us directly. The same Primis staff that knows your name will help you to access multi-million-dollar aggregate FDIC insurance across network banks. No need to memorize dozens of online banking logins. Access Funds You can make up to six withdrawals per month from ICS funds placed into outside money market deposit accounts. For CDARS, select from a range of CD term options to meet your liquidity needs. Want More Information? Deposits that are placed through an IntraFi service at FDIC-insured banks in IntraFi’s network are eligible for FDIC deposit insurance coverage at the network banks. The depositor may exclude banks from eligibility to receive its funds. To meet conditions for pass-through FDIC deposit insurance, deposit accounts at FDIC-insured banks in IntraFi’s network that hold deposits placed using an IntraFi service are titled, and deposit account records are maintained, in accordance with FDIC regulations for pass-through coverage. Although deposits are placed in increments that do not exceed the FDIC standard maximum deposit insurance amount (“SMDIA”) at any one bank, a depositor’s balances at the institution that places deposits may exceed the SMDIA before settlement for deposits or after settlement for withdrawals. The depositor must make any necessary arrangements to protect such balances consistent with applicable law and must determine whether placement through an IntraFi service satisfies any restrictions on its deposits.
