About Scott

Over the years, Scott has worked with banks, insurance companies, and fintech firms in various roles, including auditor, advisor, and industry executive. His experience solving complex technical accounting challenges has made him a trusted leader in the financial services industry.

A proud graduate of Clemson University, Scott earned an accounting degree and later obtained his CPA license in South Carolina and Georgia.

When he’s not navigating accounting complexities, Scott is all about sports. He’s coached all three of his kids in their sports and has a deep passion of his own for baseball—having visited over half of the major league stadiums across the country. On Friday nights in the fall, you’ll find him moonlighting as the PA announcer at one of his son’s high school football games, and in the spring, keeping the scorebook for his other son’s baseball team and cheering on his daughter at her lacrosse tournaments. And when he's not at the ballpark? He’s on the smoker, perfecting his barbecue, or in the kitchen whipping up winning dishes that have earned him neighborhood cooking competition titles.
