Primis Bank’s Amanda Gravely Named to Independent Banker’s 40 Under 40 List

ASHLAND, Va. — Primis Bank proudly congratulates Amanda Gravely, senior vice president and director of in-market banking, on being named to Independent Banker magazine’s 2025 40 Under 40 list. This annual award celebrates emerging community bank leaders who are making an outsized impact on their institutions and the communities they serve.
Gravely was recognized for her leadership in risk mitigation and fraud prevention—work that has significantly strengthened Primis Bank’s operational defenses. In response to rising fraud activity, she implemented a daily manual check review and spearheaded the creation of the “Watch Dog” program, which rewards team members for identifying and stopping fraud attempts.
