Brock Saunders

Brock has spent his career navigating global financial markets and building investment strategies across a wide range of asset classes. He currently serves as Managing Partner at Mattock Capital, a Richmond-based family office focused on alternative investments. Prior to Mattock, Brock was President and Chief Investment Officer at James River Capital Corp. and previously served as a Partner at Pleasant Lake Partners, a New York-based hedge fund. Read More

About Brock

He began his career at Citigroup as a high-yield credit trader before moving into the firm’s proprietary trading business, where he ultimately became Global Head of Equity Trading in London. Brock earned dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in government and history from the University of Virginia, where he also served on the Honor Committee as one of three elected representatives from the college. His broad experience across capital markets, investing, and financial services brings valuable perspective to the Primis Board of Directors.
