A former banker and entrepreneur, Margaret has extensive expertise in emerging technologies, including embedded payments, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and blockchain. She has held senior leadership roles at Accenture, Bank of America, First Data, and The Clearing House, overseeing businesses with hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue, payment volumes measured in trillions of dollars, and government balance sheets exceeding $2 trillion.

Margaret also played a pivotal role in modernizing government operations, serving as the Senate-confirmed Deputy for Management at the Office of Management and Budget and as Director of the U.S. Office of Personnel Management. Her innovative contributions to the payments industry have resulted in 16 U.S. patents and numerous payment product and business model advancements. Today, Margaret serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University and advises a variety of organizations through her roles on the Smithsonian Libraries and Archives Advisory Board and the boards of several financial technology startups. Her unique blend of financial services, technology, innovation, and leadership experience brings valuable insight to the Primis Board of Directors.
