Primis Announces Northern Neck Community Advisory Board Members

HEATHSVILLE, Va. — Primis Bank announces the establishment of its inaugural Community Board of Directors, a pioneering initiative aimed at fostering stronger ties between the financial institution and the vibrant Northern Neck community, as well as local businesses. This newly
formed board stands as a testament to Primis Bank’s unwavering commitment to actively engage with and support the thriving communities it serves.

It was previously announced that Keith Harris and S. Lake Cowart, two prominent local business owners, will lead the board. Their information and the remainder of the board members are listed below.

  • Keith Harris
    Owner and President of Harris Farms, Inc., a sixth-generation farm in Northumberland County. Harris represents Virginia’s 1st District on the board of Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, appointed by Governor Glenn Youngkin in July 2023.
  • S. Lake Cowart
    President of Lake Farms, Inc. and Lake Packing Co., Inc. in Lottsburg, Virginia, and is also the majority shareholder and treasurer of Cowart Seafood Corp. Cowart served on the Virginia Marine Resources Commission from 1996-2005, the Northern Neck Soil and Water Conservation Board from 1985-1989 and the Richmond Federal Reserve Small Business and Agricultural Advisory Council from 2008-2010.
  • Rev. Dr. Linwood T. Blizzard, II
    Senior Pastor of the Macedonia Baptist Church in Heathsville, Virginia, and previously an adjunct professor of Practical Theology at Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. Dr. Blizzard currently serves as the Chairman of the Board of Directors for the Macedonia Community Development Corporation, Inc., board member of the River Counties Community Foundation, Education Secretary for the Northern Neck Baptist Association, Inc., and the Chair of the Commission on Social Justice for the Baptist General Convention of Virginia. Moreover, he also currently serves as a Co-Chair of the Joint Finance Committee of the Northumberland County Board of Supervisors and Northumberland County School Board.
  • Paige T. Biddlecomb, CPA
    President of Chesapeake Accounting Group, proudly serving businesses and community members for over 20 years. Biddlecomb is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University and a member of the Virginia Society of CPAs.
  • Chris Cralle
    President of Cralle Insurance Agency in Callao, Virginia, founded by his grandfather, Lewis B. Cralle, Sr., in 1948. Cralle currently serves on the Planning Commission for Northumberland County, as a director for the Northumberland County Historical Society, and as Treasurer of Westmoreland Lodge No. 212 AF & AM.He previously served as a director for the Independent Insurance Agents of Virginia.
  • Corinne A. Becker
    Executive Director of Rice’s Hotel and Hughlett’s Tavern, a non-profit historic landmark in Heathsville, Virginia. Becker is a current member of the Northern Neck Tourism Commission and previously served on the board of directors of the Northumberland County Public Library and Northumberland YMCA.

The Northern Neck Community Advisory Board will hold its first meeting on Tuesday, April 9, at 5:00 p.m. at the Primis Heathsville branch located at 6941 Northumberland Highway in Heathsville, Virginia.
