Primis Bank Announces New Executive Vice President
Susan Williamson, Director of Regulatory Relations, has been promoted to EVP
RICHMOND, Va. — During their July meeting, the Primis Board of Directors voted to promote Susan (“Susie”) Williamson to Executive Vice President, Director of Regulatory Relations.
Williamson has been instrumental in supporting the bank’s growth since rejoining the Primis team in the summer of 2020. Her knowledge and expertise in regulatory risk management have been a guiding light for the rest of the company to follow.
“Susie’s promotion is more than well-deserved,” Dennis Zember, president and chief executive officer said. “She has been a huge asset to us in her time here at Primis. We have very aggressive growth goals and achieving those means we need to operate with the needs of our customers and investors at the forefront of all actions. Susie’s insight has influenced our entire team as we work towards our goals. Williamson has almost two decades of progressive banking, compliance and risk management experience. Having previously served as the compliance officer at Old Point National Bank, Sonabank, and Farmers Bank, Susie has consistently excelled in compliance management, consumer complaint management, and team leadership.
