About Anurag

Primis first brought Anurag on as Chief Architect to lead a comprehensive technology modernization and application consolidation effort. Within his first 10 days, he completed an end‑to‑end assessment of the bank’s internal technology landscape—recommending changes across infrastructure, vendor partnerships, policies and procedures, and identifying opportunities to consolidate overlapping digital platforms and payment providers. Now as CIO, he continues to guide Primis’ enterprise digital strategy forward, helping the organization leverage data, automation and AI to improve efficiency, reduce complexity and support long‑term growth.

A University of Cincinnati graduate with a degree in Management Information Systems and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University, Anurag has spent his career helping financial institutions rethink how technology supports growth. At M&T Bank, he led enterprise cloud strategy across the organization, aligning technology capabilities with business priorities while improving product quality, customer satisfaction and cost efficiency through scaled Agile transformation. Earlier at KeyBank, he led the migration of paper‑based wealth management processes to fully digital platforms—driving millions in year‑over‑year cost savings while reallocating resources towards other bank needs.

A proud Cincinnati native, Anurag’s leadership style was shaped as much on the lacrosse field as it was in the boardroom—having played in college and later coached at the high school level. Whether he’s leading a digital transformation initiative or planning what comes next, he brings the same mindset to everything he does: build smart, move fast and always be ready for what’s next.
