Frequently Asked Questions

Neither Zelle or Primis charge fees to send or receive money.

Typically, money sent with Zelle is available to enrolled recipients within minutes. If it has been more than 72 hours, Zelle recommends confirming that your profile is fully enrolled, and that you provided the correct email address or US mobile phone number to the sender.

Both the sender and recipient’s bank accounts must be based in the US in order to use Zelle. Also, the Primis mobile app is only accessible within the continental US.

Payment can only be canceled if the recipient hasn’t enrolled in Zelle yet. To cancel a payment, head to the Zelle section of the Primis app and select “Cancel This Payment” on the item you wish to cancel.

If the recipient has already enrolled with Zelle, the money is sent directly to your recipient’s bank account and cannot be canceled. For business owners, this is key to making sure you’re not susceptible to any scam attempts.

Hopefully your customers will be thrilled to know you now except Zelle as a form of payment. To help spread the word, you can download free marketing assets from Zelle’s website and add them anywhere that your customers might see them.

Zelle accounts can only be tied to one specific bank account. If you already have a Zelle account set up for a personal account, you will need to enroll your business account using a different email or phone number to start accepting payments through Zelle to your Primis business account. You account must be connected to verified (they’ll send a code) email or phone number to begin accepting payments.

Consumers who already use Zelle do not need to do any additional steps to pay businesses via Zelle. They can easily pay you using Zelle how they normally do, through their bank’s mobile app.
